Theme of work: Research influence of technological parameters and alloy elements on structure of steel electroslag remelting
Development of mechanical engineering, gas turbo engineering, airspace engineering, nuclear energetics demanded considerable rise of production of special steels and alloys able to work under various conditions. There was a necessity in creation of new metallic materials which possess the special properties. Together with this especially sharply the question of providing of exceptionally high quality of smelted steels and alloys for the rise of reliability and longevity of wares which make from them became before metallurgists.
Quality of the finished metallic products, their reliability and longevity in exploitation are determined foremost by quality of ingot which these wares are made from, that is by the degree of its physical and chemical homogeneity, maintenance in it of harmful admixtures.
<ð ALIGN=justify> Most wide practical application for the receipt of high-quality metal from economy and high efficiency was got by the method of electro-slag remelting.

Target of given work is been by the receipt of ingots of high quality with the necessary mechanical properties and structure by the method of electro-slag remelting. For achievement this during melting adjusting of basic technological parameters is conducted, such as speed of serve of electrode, depth of slag and metallic bath, allocation of current in the slag bath and other. With respect to alloying elements, for research of their influencing the so-called electrodes-satellites which are brought into crystallizator together with the basic electrode are used. The Electrodes-satellites are filled with the alloying elements.
After remelting the got ingots cool down. Out of ingots make the standards and explore their structure. On the basis of researches draw conclusions and choose optimum parameters of melting and concentration of alloying elements which allow to get a necessary structure of bar and necessary mechanical properties.
In our time this theme is actual and requires the detailed research.
